Take out Netherlands, Belgium and Luxenburg. Then Attack France from the north.
For Russia, use tanks for a spearhead and encicle pockets of their troops.
Please.
But the Templates for without cheats would be nice too.
I usually go for 20width divisions. Manpower is one of the reasons (i don't cheat manpower)
6 medium panzer + 4 mot, for panzer ( pretty much the same support unit except AT )
There are probably much better temps, but they work just fine for me with no cheats
ich habe dir bereits in deinem anderen Post mehrere super Vorlagen geliefert. Habe dich mal in Steam geaddet. Bei deinen 230 Stunden in Hoi4 aber noch immer Schwierigkeiten beim Durchbrechen kannst du mit Sicherheit eine direktere Hilfe als nur hier im Forum gebrauchen. Schreib mich einfach an.
14/4 same as above but double the infantry and artillery. very expensive if you have armies of them, so they're mostly for late game.
Tanks: try to always use 40 width to get the most out of them. 12 medium with 8 motorized. use engineer, artillery, armored car recon, and signal companies. logistics too.
I like to have a small amount of tank divisions (around 6, depends on your production capaicty). I put them in their own army under my best general and micro them to create encirclements. when you have 40 width heavy tanks, nothing can stop you short of a mountain. Taking out poland with 40width tanks is like melting butter, but it can be hard to have the production by then.
For light tanks you can normally get away with 5 light 5 moto for a decent early game template in low supply areas. there's also 40width light tank+SPG templates but those are niche
Do you manage your own attacks or have the AI execute a plan? I do the former so can't comment on the second.
To attack USSR. Select good terrain, no rivers either at the front or for a few areas back. Plan an offensive using tanks on three adjacent areas. The centre one having at least two (better three) attack vectors. Get planning bonus, check the weather is good, launch attack on the three areas, use shift-click to at least plan the attacking divisions to move on one more area. Cancel front-line. The side attacks prevent lateral reinforcement and the main attack should breakthrough and rapidly continue the advance overrunning retreating enemies.
Then use speed to expand the breakthrough, overrun, encircle, etc.
40 width tanks. Somewhere between 10/10 and 15/5 (tanks:mobile inf) If you're learning, do what's easiest for you to manage production. Very important that you are making enough tanks, trucks, and related equipment for them.
Air control. You want green air in the zones you attack in. Pump out fighters, upgrade the with air EXP, research your air doctrine. Train your air wings if you have the oil and time pre-war.
Finally, if you have both above, air support. Get some CAS and not only will it buff your troops, it outright deletes the enemy in combat. Click on the little bubbles and look in the top corner and it shows you how much the CAS has deleted from the enemy.
Green air + CAS on 40 width, fully supplied tanks means you can steam roll anything. Just be careful near forts and rivers.
That explained a freaking lot. Went over the netherlands now instead.
my bad, lol
How do you mean, that this is about to change? New dlc?
