How do you gain cores as Hungary?

I have no problem taking territory, but only Transylvania becomes a core and are just simply occupied. I've seen AI Hungary in other games get all it's claims as cores. So why can't I?

Am I getting a glitch or am I doing something wrong?

Hungary or Austria-Hungary? I do not think Hungary has some extra claims and as Austria-Hungary iirc it is either in focuses or decisions.

Hungary doesn't get any cores, Austria-Hungary on the other hand gets an incredible amount of cores through the decision "Reintegrate the Empire"

austria hungary gets cores on its territory on the eve of ww1 if i remember right

I know about A-H. I'm talking about normal Hungary. And they do get cores. I've seen it and I don't use any mods.

Greater Hungary lets you core some land from Yugoslavia, 3 states from Romania, and the state you get from Czechoslovakia when Germany begins to go crazy

IIRC Hungary doesn't get cores when proclaiming greater hungary, at least in Vanilla.

Greater Hungary doesnt give cores you get the cores in a focus before that but in the same tree. Its the "Reaffirm Territorial Claims" focus. With it Hungary gains cores on:
North Transylvania
Crisana
Transylvania
Southern Slovakia
Vojvodina
West Banat

I did that, but they didn't become cores. Must be a glitch.

Well I just quickly tried it and definitly got cores on all those provinces. Somethings bugged with your game.

I think it was a glitch, because i've also just started a new Hungary run and got those provinces as cores.
Although, the province east of Slovakia, can't remember its name, remains as a claim and not a core. I guess it's best to just give it to Slovakia when I gain it as a puppet.
