The player should be at least allowed a chance to put a stop to it. Just like how Romania can tell Hungary to get stuffed when they ask for Transylvania and go crying to the Germans, who you can also say "no" to.
I've just lost my supply route as USA because the Axis got cairo in a peace treaty that I wasnt involved with. I occupied Cairo and they just took it from me. 100 of my divisions are in the Mediterranean as I slowly penetrated the soft underbelly.
The rules in this game are so complicated that anything can happen without logic. So if the AI can easily take things from you, then I'll take things back without logic as well
