Railroads for supplies (expect pain), tank designer (as if the Ship Designer wasn't nightmarish enough..), Soviet tree and events rework, hopefuly, HOPEFULY, a Mongolia focus tree?
Yep, HOI V doesn't sound like a possibility just yet with such a major DLC
How can you expect HOI5 only 5 years after HOI4's release?
Not to mention that they're currently running the Dev Diaries for the next major dlc which is all half the forums are talking about and would be night impossible to not know about.
this game is a spreadsheet simulator.
4-5 focus trees arent even 20h work manpower.
look at their previous tree mods, they look which mods are good and just rip off half of it.
a major dlc in this game has the same effort like a bugfix patch in a proper game.
That's still not a reason to replace an only 5 year old game in a genre such as this
But lets for the sake of argument pretend that they are minor dlc, as the guy above me said "that's still not a reason to replace an only 5 year old game in a genre such as this".
> There are still bugs and exploits in Battle of the Bosporus that are known from release. (for example infinite PP as Turkey)
Paradox clearly don't want to carry on with this mess anymore. Hearts of Iron 5 is coming sooner than we think. They'll release one last DLC for Italy after Barbarossa and in 2022 they will announce HoI5 I almost sure.
> immediate "when is hearts of iron 5"
probably after ck3 is fleshed out and vicky 3 has had its time to shine, so, uhhh... how does half-a-decade sound? pdx's roadmap for this game is at LEAST three more years of content at the pace they work, but they could easily do more.
