Report a translation problem
So for example when I send a caravan and it gets 170k caps per quarter, when that caravan completes its run that 170k extra income goes down to 0 and you have to send another caravan. Other than that it's been more or less consistent for me though I've only played one short trial campaign with it so far.
The first screenshot shows you the caravan I have sent giving me 170k income per quarter.
The second screenshot shows the caravans you can choose from.
They are only greyed out because I'm at war, so make sure you have a giant stockpile of caps if you've got a high-upkeep army, because you can't use these when you're at war.

Ceasar controlls trade nodes, so no caravans.
