What's a good heavy tank template?
I usually put no more than 2 in a division but I don't know if that's optimal or not

usually an even mix of HT and Inf up to 20, or 40 width HT are slow so regular Inf won't slow them down much, compared to light/med tanks
you can even make an 80 width HT div if you're feeling like being edgy
tho it's probably not "meta"

13 heavy tank, 7 motorized/mechanized. Best template

Heavy tanks are really slow so you can use any form of infantry with them. Mechs will add armour and hardness while having the best stats overall but even standard infantry is a-ok to use with heavies.

It is but if you are wanting a few to smash a heavily defended line then maximising their impact and minimising their losses saves in the long run.

It is a question of why your are building heavy tank divisions. Is it because you have chromium but no titanium so need heavies rather than mediums, or is it because you need some over-powered divisions to shatter static positions?
