Cant build ships.

I bought the man the guns or something like that expansion and started playing bulgaria, i reasearched the first destroyer hul and guns for it, but only template i got is the trade ships...how i can build ships when i dont get templates to do it?

You researched the hull, not the ship. Like how when you research tanks, you don't research the division. So it's a similar process.

You need to design a ship that uses that hull. Don't have the UI in front of me but I think you can view ships that in the ship production view, there's an option to view ships that can't be built which will just be the empty hull. And then just edit that.

You don't need to fill every slot in the ship design, I think it just needs a gun, engines and armor.

It's like Yellow said. there's a button next to the hull when you're looking at them in the Production menu. click that and you can add modules to the ship (guns, torps, AA, etc). This all takes Naval Exp so be sure to have a fleet or two running training excersizes

Also Bulgaria is a very specific case were you need to get rid of a national idea before you can start building a navy.
