Map Definition Error

I posted this in technical problems but go no reply so here I am.

Whenever I try to start the game, get the following pop-up:

Some errors are present in the map definition and have been logged to error.log

You might want to disable your mods and try again.
If that fails, check the integrity of game files inside steam.
If that fails, try clearing your user directory from the launcher.

I've tried everything in the message, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the whole game, and I still have these issues. It started when the new update (1.10) came out. error.log is empty when I checked it.

Any ideas?

Edit: I unsubscribed from every mod in existence and it still does not work plz help
Edit 2: I reverted to 1.9.x and can play again but I miss my mods
Edit 3: I posted in technical problems once, and here once and got no replies anywhere so I'm back again. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ help me!
Edit 4 : They say that trying the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is the definition of madness. "They" clearly have never met me.

hello! I might be late to the discussion but i tried to play an old version of the mod TNO and the map integrity error happened, i proceeded to unistall the game, delete all the files (from steamapps and documents) upon reinstaling the same error happened, is there something wrong i did? Thanks

Rollback to older game version - most likely you crash due to the new supply system (added with 1.11).

I was stuck with this issue for a LONGG time, For me what fixed it was going to Documents>Paradox Interactive>HOI4>History>States then deleting the files that were in there
Turns out i somehow used the nudger and that just made the states not load

old thread but I managed to fix this by deleting the hoi4 folder in documents/ paradox interactive/hoi4. deleting the workshop folder for hoi4(google the directory it was a pain) and deleting steamfiles/ steamlibrary/steamapps/common/hoi4 after uninstalling on steam. after that I reinstalled hoi4 in a different location cleared my cache and it finally booted for me
