Troop movement
Why do all my units immediately return to their original postions after I move them every time? Game is kinda unplayable like this.

if you draw a frontline the ai will rearrange your troops to fit how it thinks it should be as long as the order is still there if you move people to elsewhere along the line it will move others if it thinks that puts too few units where the old ones were

So there is no way to order your tanks to attack a specific area/county then? In other words, my tanks are all up in the north of Poland and none in the south. None at all and I can move any there regardless of "frontline". They simply turn around upon reaching their destination and go back north and hang out with the troops of another front.

Make multiple fronts. Put your tanks in their own Frontline that is small up north. Frontlines can overlap each other. Or don't use frontlines for your tanks and just manually tell them where to attack.

Thanks! I'm actually watching it right now ;-) it is better than the others I've watched so far.

I'm going to try turning off the "garrison" orders. Maybe that will help?

That's my problem. When I manually move a unit to a territory, upon reaching the destination, it automatically turns around and goes back from whence it came!

OK, I think I've figured out the problem. The units auto-returning are assigned. Once I unassigned them they stayed put. Was confusing since only about half of the armies units were assigned.

Now, is there a way to remove the front line and start from scratch?

Click on a division that has a frontline, on the far right of the taskbar that shows up is a trashcan, you can click on it and delete orders with it.
