Is your fleet capable of attacking the destroyers?
A singular enemy ship may sink entire flotillas of convoys. Do not do naval invasions until enemy ship count is exactly 0.
In addition, one can simply max armor on battleships and not make any other ship type and still win against a comparable production cost fleet made up in a balanced and realistic manner.
Do you even have this game?
This is exactly right.
Can you be more condesending?
That would make sense, given that this is historically exactly what "Convoy Escort" duty was/is.
If someone has a mouse next to their name it means they own the game.
Another problem could be you naval invaded when your ships have gone into port to repair right before you clicked the button. It's helpful to start your convoy escort mission, wait to see if they've engaged any ships, and if not then send your convoys.
Edit: During the last patch the developers could have also made less relevant factors more relevant like radars and air control so your navy needs to be able to see everything in order to get less chances for convoys to interact with the enemy.
Has anyone tried using ONLY destroyers/light cruisers for convoy escorts and kept all other ship types out? Meaning you make a seperate fleet for convoy escorts and then also have another fleet for fighting purposes.
