What is stockpiling?

Me and my friends are playing our first game and we have no clue what it is.
Im building Towed Artillery and hes building tanks but they just get put into our stockpile. Can we not use them?

All you're doing is creating the equipment which is used to create divisions. You still need to create the divisions.

You need to modify your division templates to include the new equipment. You also will want a stockpile regardless, since you're going to lose equipment over time from attrition, exercises (training), and combat.

stockpile means you have more than extra, when a division is training which needs that item it will be used from the stockpile as well as replacements from battles so the higher stockpile the better in long wars

Way back in the Yonderwhen of a While Ago, when all of us started the Game, everybody was a "noob"; just get your act together, and with a little seasoning {eggnog and chocolate} you'll do fine .
