When you annex a puppet, you get the manpower from their states, whatever military they had, and any stored equipment. You get everything from your puppets you annex.
BUT.... it may be to your advantage to NOT annex, and don't involve your Puppets in any War vs USSR (i.e. don't call them to fight) until you're ready to.
This will limit the size of the "Front Line" to that one Province near Vladivostock and the Southern half of the peninsular region (forget what its called) North by North-East of Vladivostock.
Unless you've already defeated China & The Raj & Malaya of course in which case go for it :)
i started with an invasion of USA, so no problem overall. but not at war with any other major so far.
And once i start i think i will have to shift better troops around...
My question was in regards to "colonial" units. When you annex the puppet, they disappear, too? Not just the puppet's own military? That kinda sucks, lol
