Restoring austro-hungary problem

My every gameplay ends with me being attacked by axis because if i fight someone he joins axis a while later. Any tips of what i should do in what order to get the austro hungary working.

it takes too long. Poland gets taken really quickly. after going fascist i went onto austria but problem is taking Poland and Czechoslovakia as they end their existence fast as hell.

Actually it takes luck and patience, i wasn't able to do it myself but i've done some reading on the paradox forums. Rush to that "Protect Czechoslovakia" focus, there are three possible outcomes from that focus, they disagree and you gain a few claims on their land, they agree but becomes your puppet (which you can annex if you demote their level), they accept it fully and you annex them. About Poland, you will probably have to war against Germany to get your claims on it, the players on the forum said they joined allies when war broke out

I'll try my luck without historical ai. Maybe i will get lucky and axis want be fully formed and i will have easier job and join allies. Thanks for the tip.
