Fastest Win/Speedrun

Right now I'm trying to see how fast yearwise I can beat every starting major nation. What's the fastest that any of you have ever won?

The fact that anyone can ask that question about a Grand Strategy game, speaks volume of the crappiness of this game. I am afraid that HoI 4 is a lost game. I may be wrong (please, let me be wrong) but im not optimistic.

I dunno, It's a grand strategy game, but its not like eu4 so its not meant to last 1000 years, in 1 playthrough. Still I feel like theres fun in trying to win before 38 or 39.

I got London in Early 37. Trying to figure out the right strategy from there. Need to find a way to attack France without them joining commitern

Yeah UK usually my first major target. To stop france from joining comitern you just have to have them join the allies after you've taken out britain. If you just declare war on south africa(or any residual ally member), then france, france will join allies. I'd say controlling who is a major faction, and what faction people join is super important to rushing.

Makes sense, thanks. My thought then is to attack Canada and the us and then declare on France. They do not handle the invasion from the channel well, and the US will be too weak to do much

It really doesn't matter whether you go para troppers or naval invasion in my opinion. As long as you can take 1 port you can take the island. Para are faster and easier, because you can just look for an exposed port, but either way can work.

Also I managed to beat all majors by 1940 Apr, alot slower that I was hoping but a start.
