Can’t assign sea-regions to individual task forces in a fleet
Desperate for a solution here, I cannot assign regions to a single task force in a fleet, with a specific mission.
I can assign individual missions, but all regions selected are shared for all task forces.
This is leading to things like a submarine task force complaining that it cannot cover all of this ground properly for its convoy raiding, so has reduced efficiency, when I just want it to raid in a single region.
Please send help, been at this for a hour with no success, many thanks

"Select" the relevant fleet from within the stacked fleets.

Thanks, but I’m doing exactly that and it’s still using regions previously set to the other task forces and any changes change the regions every task force in the fleet uses
Having kind of the same issue. What I cant figure out is how to cancel a fleets order. For example like trying to cancel its order of patrolling a certain area

i believe the overall naval fleet operates in all sea zones assigned but the task force will do its one role

I know a task force will do its own assigned mission, my issue is that I want task forces in a fleet to use different regions from each other, such as not having my submarines try to cover five regions in convoy rousing when they can only cover one efficiently

I think you have to make a 2nd fleet that would operate differently then. I've tried doing separate sea zones with different operations within the same fleet with no success so far.

Shift and R-click to allocate zones, or change existing ones.

EDIT: Added the quote

Thanks, I am doing that on Sea-regions, but the ones I have selected/I selected are then used by all task forces in a fleet, even if I assign them for a single selected task force

This is what happens when I try to select them individually

Didn't click the link, sorry ...bit dodgy :)

Try selecting the fleet and giving it a different mission to the other fleets in the task force.
I just tried with a force that had Surface and Subs, and got the Subs convoy raiding and the Surface laying mines without much issue.

yes i cant do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with my fleet as italy becouse the fleet i have, is in patrol mode in the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ med..... How to cancel and just patrol a single zone? like wtf??

As I understand you make a fleet and then you give either your entire fleet a collective assignment in , I think, as many regions as you like, or you giveyour task forces assigments in the selected regions of your fleet.
That means you have one admiral per fleet to do what you want them to do. Difference is now your fleet can do more than just raid convoys in the assigned regions, because of your task forces.
One example: 1 admiral: 10 subs task force, and , I dunno, 1 light carrier 2 Heavy Cruisers and 8 Destroyers.
the sub task force can raid convoys and the carrier force can be escorting convoys. All in the assigned region that your fleet/admiral has.
If you want to have subs/patrol/etc in other regions you make a new fleet and give them another admiral.
Hope that helps

TL;DR
Task forces operate in the regions given to your admiral/fleet; you have to make a new fleet if you want to operate in different regions.

Only thing I did not find out is, how do you remove a fleet assignment, right now I just get rid of the fleet altogether
