CTD on Sept. 3rd 1939 - Need Help!

For some reason when I load my autosave on Sept. 1st 1939 2 days later on excatly 24:00 Sept. 3rd 1939 my game crashes to desktop. I'm wondering if it's because of a specific event I should get on sept. 4th or something. My game hasn't done this before and I've played more than 15 hours offline.

Background on my game so far:
I'm playing as Japan, I've taken over all of China and gave the Peoples Republic of China to Japan's puppet country. The game is set to be historically accurate, the world tension is at 100% and I'm boosting and staging fasict coups in America and Soviet Union. My nation goal ended on Sept. 1st and I stopped researching tech in August. I am also currently not at war with anyone or in any faction.

Do you use any mods? If so they might cause the problem.

Instead of background on games sometimes it's even more important other information as Lukas said, using MODs or not it's cruzial.

I see. In your situation I'd try a clean reinstall, i.e. all of the following and in that order:
0) unsubscribe from all mods
1) delete the game's local content in Steam (i.e. deinstall the game)
2) exit Steam
3a) manually delete your personal HOI4 directory -- its path depends on the OS:
(Note: You might want to make a backup of the local savegames in there before doing that!)
- [Windows] \Users\<username>\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV\
- [macOS] /Users/<username>/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/
- [GNU/Linux] /home/<username>/.local/share/Paradox\ Interactive/Hearts\ of\ Iron\ IV/
3b) manually delete your HOI4 Steam directory (if it still exists...) -- its path depends on the OS:
- [Windows 64bit] C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Hearts of Iron IV\
- [Windows 32bit] C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Hearts of Iron IV\
(Note that your OS isn't officially supported!)
- [macOS] /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Hearts of Iron IV/ (hidden on macOS 10.7+; this[www.macworld.com] might be helpful)
- [GNU/Linux] /home/<username>/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Hearts\ of\ Iron\ IV/
4) restart Steam
5) reinstall the game
6) verify the game

I loaded a save from 1938 and just got back to Sept. 1939 and no crash. So I guess it's fixed?
