Italy "Demand Savoy" Focus

I invaded Corsica before Vichy France was created and so I became the owner of that land, not the controller. Now I can't ask Germany for Savoy for this reason.

Is there a way to fix this? I cannot give control of that state to Vichy because it's my land now and savoy is a rich land

I was looking in events and discisions and found that if italy manages to capture Corsica it will be given to them just as Savoy.
