Is there a way to prevent puppets calling other faction members to war?
I was playing kaiserreich as germany and ukraine left my faction, well i thought "russia's at war with mongolia and japan, they wont join" so i declared war, and sure enough they didnt. I called belarus and ONLY belarus because i needed to get through them, then they decide to call in hawaii, who then invites all my other puppets, triggering russia to declare war on me.

Is there a way to stop this ♥♥♥♥ from happening? It gets really annoying when every time i want to, say, play realistically and invade france the same day the germans did irl, i shouldn't have to not call in slovakia or hungary to prevent italy from joining early.

I know there's "ai call to war opinion" or whatever its named, but i still want to be able to call THEM in, just not them being able to call others in because, as previously stated, it often ruins a decently thought out plan

if you declare war, there is always the option to call in your allies or not. atleast if you are the ruler of your faction. if you do not select this, you will always have complete control over who joins wars with you and who doesn't. they can only be accepted otherwise if you click on their request and manually do so.

but all in all though, the game's ai can be retarded sometime so do not expect this to work ALL the time.

Thing is, i was in the wars window and called specifically belarus, i didnt press "call all allies" on the war start up screen because i didnt get that option, it was through an event that auto-declared war so i never even got the screen with "potential enemies, war goals (conquer, puppet, etc) and all that. Belarus just decided to call hawaii in, on their own. Hawaii didn't ask to join wars, they just joined because belarus invited them

If you want complete control about who is in the war you started then you need to not invite anyone.

The AI thought it was doing you a favor getting everyone in the war.

If sounds like you joined someone else's war and got kinda upset that other people joined without asking (in part because you do not fully understand the mechanic).

I don't want to be mean here but you basically got mad at the game for doing exactly what it is supposed to do.

Did you even read what he posted? He's saying he only wanted ONE of his allies to join the war HE started. That one ally invited all his other allies. He wants to know if theres a way to prevent your allies from calling each other in, which no, there is not. Sorry OP.
