Force/NoCheck Diplomacy

Put simply, I'm in a multiplayer campaign with someone and I want to get them in my faction. But they're not allowed to join factions. How do I get the bastard back in my faction?

Can just go into SP and do commands. Aren't any though, as far as I know, not even a puppet command. Only way would be to annex, puppet, and release. Maybe?

There has to be a way to get around broken mechanics.

i mean yeah you can load the save and do tag switching with allowdiplo and yesman on and force the nation to join your faction and then reload the save

If the country "is not allowed to join factions" it can't be done like that. Wouldn't have a problem if I could invite him or him me to begin with. Need a forced solution through commands or something.

can't create factions =/= can't join factions

if it does say can't create factions then allowdiplo and yesman will work (just checked myself)
