Report a translation problem
Inside of that menu there is a blue bar representing the overall progress towards the next levels of vassalage.
There are 4 stages:
Annexed - Integrated Puppet - Puppet - Free
If you can see a cross on the left side of the bar it means the target is an integrated puppet as the next lower level for it is annexed
If you can see a dove on the right side of the bar it means the next higher level is free meaning they are a puppet.
The bar itself shows the overall progress towards either side as I said but hovering over the symbols on either end will give you a more detailed look as it tells you what is needed to reach that level you are hovering over and also where it's current autonomy is coming from, be that lend-lease, combat aid or construction.
If you don't have that you'll probably need the Together for Victory DLC.
