convoy raiding efficiency +%

Hi, couldnt find any info on this. Does anyone know what exactly convoy raiding efficiency means? I.e. in terms of game mechanics, what does a % increase mean e.g. from a navy advisor? Find more convoys? Hit 'em harder? I have no idea

It means how easily your fleets that are on the convoy raiding mission will be spotting and destroying enemy convoy ships.

For what I can tell it effects how many sea zones can be covered before the enemy gets a free pass with their convoy. When you put your task forces on convoy raiding the interface will show a raiding efficiency in the unit interface and on map. I imagine that if your efficiency is below 100%, for example 75%, then 25% of enemy convoys will pass without your task forces even getting a chance to detect them. And if you already have enough task forces to have 100% coverage, then the efficiency bonus from an advisor/doctrine doesn't do anything.

But without a up to date manual to refer to, I'm basically just guessing.
