Case Anton Broken

I've had this work in the past, now I've reloaded twice, and still not working? I get troops to toulon in only a matter of hours after selecting the decision, nothing even after months

Easy way to do this.

1:Have 0 troops in Vichy France
2:Use paratroopers, it's super easy to do it this way.

Getting to toulon is not an issue, it just doesn't do anything after I do it this time

so you selected the case anton decision, and reached toulon within 24 hours?
what happened next?

what should happen is that 7 days after slecting the case anton decision, you should annex vichy france. if you reached toulon within 24 hours, you should capture their fleets.

did any of this happen?

Yes, like i said, I've done this before, and followed the exact steps like you described. Even months after nothing happens, not even the popup window that come after the event fires and you annex them.

I've done this:
1)select the decision
2) moved a small army to toulon, arrived in less than a day
3) Nothing happens, even after months, I've reloaded the save twice and the same happens.

The difference between this and last time when it worked is that I've won the war against the allies, vichy france has all of the former french lands. But surely that won't change anything?

no, you can still do the event while at peace...

are you running any mods? if so, may i ask which?

No mods at all.

sounds like a weird bug then.
try verifying, if that doesnt help, you could try reinstall. if none of this helps, i suggest you report this at the paradox hoi4 forum.

Okay, thanks. I guess I have to cope with keeping them around.
