all you need to do for MP desynch is save the game then reload the game lmao desynchs happen when you're playing a real time game, the host will sometimes outpace other players..
you don't need to "Verify integrity" for 20 minutes or clear your cache everytime you play lmao the most I'll ever do is restart HOI4 lol
There is a Clear User Directory (I think that's what it's called) button on the launcher. Use it, join MP, dominate your friends. :)
Desynchs happen, because the game is moving faster on the hosts computer than one of the players .... it even gives you a warning when a desynch is about to happen, so, you can slow speed lmao
Wrong. If the game is moving faster for one person and somebody is behind it automatically slows the game speed and it says at the top of you hover your mouse over it "player X is behind by 56 (in game) hours" This happens to one of our players because their PC is pretty low spec and we like to play on high speed. The game may then slow down and pause and the person behind catches up. This is the not the problem the OP is saying.
Desync happens when something different occurs for 1 person compared to another. e.g you give a general a skill point but for some reason it doesn't happen for another player, thus they are out of sync.
Ususally you can then re-sync and it takes a minute or two and then that skill point applied will sync to all players. But then say you give another general another skill point and oh look it didnt sync to the other players. Maybe that skill point is broke in the files for the out of sync player. You have the option of ignoring the desync but then players are effectively playing a different game because they are no longer synchronised. Events and choices etc will happen for one person but may not happen in the game for the rest of the players.
I did forget about the clear cache option, we do do try that first as its the quickest. It rarely worked for us but it does clear any user data that might be there that shouldn't. e.g mod data, you may have turned off mods but some saved data may still be in the user cache.
Couple of months ago the person who was desyncing all the time re-installed the game not had the problem since.
The OP says it's been happening in every few minutes, I know he is correct because I had the same problem. Don't you think restarting the game every 2 mins is frustrating and useless? Pepega ass comment about ♥♥♥♥ you don't know anything about.
idc if you're poor, ask for more hours at McDonalds and get a better computer, 4chan loser
