Peace conference crash
I am playing as Japan and joined no faction and am just focusing on conquering China, it is 1943 and China is almost fallen but the Germans and Italians have capitulated. The day after Italys defeat a peace conference tries to happen and the game just crashes, EVERY time. I tried changing some settings, lowering graphics, nothing helps. Theres still plenty of game left for me to play but this bug makes it unplayable. Is there any fix for this? Is Paradox going to patch this game breaking nonsense?

Save as soon as it triggers. Then reload. Seems to get me by this issue.

There is no chance to save, it immediately locks up and crashes.

This has started happening a lot to me now, last 3 games in a row it has happened. Two occurred 5 seconds after a peace conference and the last one happened 5 seconds after a technology had completed. Radiculous. It used to only happen 1 in 4 games, now its getting close to 3 in 4.

change the autosave setting to every day. it will crash on whatever day it crashes but will save right before. Usually that gets me through the game ending crashes. I typically have to do this with road to 52 alot

I can confim this also happens, excipt I'm playing as China. The moment that Italy and Germany capitulates, the game crashes during the peace conferance.

This does NOT solve my issue, game crashes no matter what. Thanks for wasting my time Paradox.

It seems that the crash is due to something the Soviets are doing in the Peace conferance. My own work around is to save 1 ingame hour before the peace conferance. Then i would use the command consle and use "tag sov" to switch to the soviets.

When the peace conferance happens I press "done" then switch back to my original country. This prevents the AI Soviets from doing whaterver is causing the crash.

Hey i know I'm late and you probably don't need to know this anymore, but how fixed it was reloading a previous save not an (autosave though)
