tried removing the democratic and communist focus's but the communsit one causes a bunch of minor erros of "cant find dependency." I cant seem to find the issue anywhere to fix either so im guessing it has to be somewhere ridiculous.
Alright, I'll try to drop everything I've got on you (From my 240 hours, I've played at least 200 on Nationalist China with RT56 / WTT). And I've tried to avoid the war in many ways possible.
My experiences are as follows:
The war is ultimately based on what the AI chooses. If you turn off historical focuses, there is always a chance that japan doesn't go for you but instead for the USSR through their support the Kodoha faction or just turns communist (Japan turning communist is very, very broken. I've had a match as Manchukuo where I declared independence right as their civil war started and it was just so damn broken).
In case you turned off historical focuses, but they still do the "Purge the Kodoha Faction" there is a chance that they come back later for you. I once had them do all the Manchurian Project focuses before doing their National Mobilization Law, Spiritual Mobilization Law, Extra Research slot etc... So that means you still have a chance to (depends on your strategy with Nationalist China) Re-unify your country ASAP or try to get stronger for the impending war (In case of which I'd recommend just spamming forts in Beijing or level 2 forts across the yellow river).
