So when I sit on a stockpile of 100K, it will convert all these into newer models?
so all your light tank I will remain T1 unless you convert them to light tank II anti-air and so on. You cant convert a light tank I to light tank II.
There is a mod that alows that though.
Logic is dead, and paradox killed it.
Send your unwanted junk to Ethiopia / Spain / China for the Army XP!
It does auto convert.
If while producing medium tanks, you upgrade that version of tank. It will upgrade any surplus stock you have. So Medium tank 2, will be converted to medium tank 2 A1.
If you do not have any stock piles, the new A1 tank will be produced in it's own right and fill the gaps before any converting is done.
The symbol in the production screen will turn green when it's converting.
It won't give you a message or any other indication it's converting rather than producing.
if you are producing a variant and you have a stockpile of the same model but an inferior variant, the convert button in the production line window gets clickable.
Yes sorry, it's not 'auto' but when the simble goes green, click it and a tick will appear.
