failed to connect (help asap)

so recently i wanted to start going online but cant as even though my internet reaches 5 mbps on both i get failed to connect show up everytime i try to join a server now u may blame my internet however ive had my internet much worse and been able to join servers clearing user directeory does nothing and honestly i dunno what to do

had a similar issue with a friend recently. do you use mods at all?

well i turned all mods off and tried joining server that was base hoi4 many times and nothing

could be a mod failing to "turn off" correctly. that was the issue we had anyway. his checksum and everything was reading correct but kept failing no matter what we did. turns out it as an out of date mod that was "turned off" in the mod list and everyting but wasnt actually. maybe try dumping your current installed mods, even out of date ones and then give the game a steam integritiy check.

well yesterday i did turn off all mods verified files and checksum was wrong so why is checksum wrong cause i think that is why

you need to get rid of the mods completly. unsubscribe them/delete them...

just tried now get checksum 3238 instead of 1503 im so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ confused

defo a mod issue then as the checksum will change depending on what mod you are useing. try to get the game back to vanilla

i dunno what to do anymore uninstalled reinstalled deleted mods i didnt use deleted mods that were outdated clear user directory still getting checksum 3238 why why WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY
