Is it worth allying italy as germany.

So im trying to get the make the world facist achievement and from previous games whenever I ally with italy they tend to lose africa and then get constantyl naval invaded everywhere I guess because I don't tend to help them.
So am I better off just going on without them?

Conquer them before you declare war on poland. The Allies won't help them because they're facist ofc so in 1939 or even 1938 those are some easy ~100-150 factorys for you.

Despite how retardet is Italy it can be very usefull in africa and drying allies MP there if you just help them a bit. First send about 10 divs to africa and put them all on border with egypt, Then dont call them to war until you capitulate france and make vichy. After that french algeria will be under control of vichy so Italy and your divs will only have 1 front war. When you take over entire egypt and syria you can let Italy do the rest. With africa secured you wont have to worry about that allies will land there.

Italy is a liability, but italy is also useful to distract the Allies. Specifically because it will drag alot of UK divisions from their homeland down to north / east africa, it also drags alot of the Royal Navy fleet down into the Med as well.

Both of which make the invasion of the UK mainland in the early game, far easier than it has any right to be.

A long protracted war against the UK where you fail to capitulate them? Italy is gonna let you down.

after the update, italy loses lybia extremely fast, i suggest you to send some divisions there before the war starts

no, it's not worth cause italian soldiers were worst soldiers in real ww2, and this game mirrors that fact very well. So don't ally with italy cause you wil have then fight both for yourself and italy whole time. Read wikipedia, italians were worst soldiers in ww2 and germans, british, everyone who lived at the time of ww2 notices that fact.

Soldiers are only as good as their leaders...and Benito was much like Hitler and put people who he liked in power, not people who could do the job. The Italian army had very old stratagies, and very old and stuborn generals. This is why they didn't do much in WW2. They were simply behind the times in both equipment and stratagy. No amount of 'good soldiers' would fix the flaws of their plans.

I think the final nail in the coffin was joining with Germany. Benito and Hitler were not friends...but they thought they could ride off of Germany's sucsess. We all know how the rest turned out.

the reason italy joined the war was because Mussolini thought they would have ended up being a german puppet, after seeing how germany annhilated poland and france, German victory wasn't a myth back then, in the first years, the results of the war were very uncertain

btw it wasn't the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ soldiers dude, they are the last people you can blame for italy' s defeat

your arguments totally wrong cause greeks, that had same situtation as italy, beat italy so badly that italy cried germany for help. So germany had to postspawn invasion of russia to save italians soldiers from greeks. Most funny is that greeks were about 20 times smaller than italians lmao. I read it in wikipedia, that also shows that italians were worst soldiers in ww2

you are wrong again, since greeks had worse officials and generals and very bad military plans than italians, and they steal beat italian soldiers so hard that germans had to save italian soldiers from greek.

they knew their own territory, and the italian invasion gave the greeks unite together with a strong national spirit, the only plans italy had were ridiculous front assaults, soldiers have nothing to do with this
