Puppet through console command ?

According to this wiki https://hoi4.paradoxwikis.com/Commands#Diplomacy it is possible to puppet through CC, and I very much need it since one of my mods screwed up my puppets (i puppetted after a war and they released themselves and left my faction through focus, which of course shouldn't be possible).

Unfortunately the command does not work, what am I doing wrong ?

The page you linked to is not a list of console commands.

Commands (what you linked to) and console commands[hoi4.paradoxwikis.com] are two completely different things and should not be mixed.

best thing to do if possible(minor nations) is annex then manage states and release as puppet. takes a minute longer and cant release all of X nations land back.

The thing I was pointing out was the fact that the OP posted a link to commands and then proceeded to claim they were console commands and that they didn't work.

The reason for it not working is the fact that they are not console commands and therefore do not work when typed into the console.

EDIT: Commands and console commands are two different things. Hopefully the OP will take notice of the error before this discussion is derailed.

Then my curiosity is piqued, what are commands meant to do ? Am I supposed to use them somewhere ?

"Effects (also known as Commands) are used in order to affect the game dynamically from within a specific scope.

Effects are used throughout the game in numerous scopes, most commonly National Focuses, Events and Decisions.

This doesn't answer my question. What do commands actually do ? Can I use them to fix problems ?

commands are basically cheats you can use in singleplayer with ironman off to make the game more fun it has nothing to do with the real game.

The commands that you linked to in the OP are used in the game in many ways, like focus, events and decisions. So theoretically you should be able to make a mod with one event that you trigger thru the console that makes those said nations your puppets.

how tf do do it, I am playing as turkey and annexed greece. Their resistance level has hit 75%. I don't want a rebellion as I am fighting with the soviets, the british and the americans. Is there any command to puppet greece? :/

the reason they start a rebellion is because u just left them free, you can setting it where there are local police, or secret police or even force labor them it just pretty difficult to get to the setting where you can do the things to prevent them from rebelling, it just click on the province (at this case its greece) so just click on one of the province and just click every button at the bottom left corner just click everysingle one and you should find it, sorry if i didnt help much
