All of my saves are gone.

I played like 5 hours ago and it had autosaved at 13th of december 1944 and i pressed exit game and it said save first and i said no but i still had the save. now i try to load it and i press singleplayer and there are no saves.

Obvious question, but did you save it to the cloud and are looking in the local folder? Or vice versa? Otherwise, I have no idea.

Idk i had ironman enabled bot sure kf that helps anything lol im new to hoi4

I don't know what happens if you don't save on exit during ironman. I've never done it.

When you go to load a game, you should see 2 buttons above the list of saved games. One says, "Local" and the other says, "Cloud." Try clicking on both of them and see if your saved game is there.

The other obvious question is that you're playing on the same computer as before, right? If it's a local save and you load up Steam on another computer, you won't see your saved game.

Yes same pc as before. I dont see any "cloud" options but load is there but the button is gray and there are no saves

Go to documents paradox and you should see a Backup folder that has saves in it. if you launched client and it said clear user directory then you emoved all saves and mods.

i found the files, they end at .hoi4 . where should i put them? i mean i copied the files but where do i put the copies?
