Equipment conversion
Hey guys,
so, since I don't know I can't convers old equipment to new one (Old Planes/guns/tanks/etc).
The buttom who activate the conversion is missing, so I still produce the new stuff but can't upgrade the old stuff ...

Are you trying to convert you infantry I equipment to infantry II equipment? I don't think that's how it works. You produce infantry II equipment and your troops will gradually replace their equipment with the new stuff and the old stuff goes into your stockpile.

Yes, this is what I was trying, my stockpile is full with old planes, weapons and tanks and I can remember that it was possible to convers this equipment with a simple buttom.

You can only upgrade between variants not different models.
By variants I mean Panzer II -> Panzer II A (When you use Army EXP to upgrade them)
By models I mean Medium Tank tier I -> the newly researched Medium Tank tier II

I believe in the case of tanks that the SP Artillery, Tank Destroyer and SP AA also count as variants, not sure.

Certain foreign equipment can also be converted, as I was turning some type of Panzer into M7 Priests, but yeah it's only used for tiring basic units into variants, either the kind you customize with xp or researched variants like tank destroyers or self propelled arty.

The old button is gone, but a new one appears if equipment conversion is possible with the unit, just make sure you click on it when you can, otherwise it won't happen automatically.

Also note that it is impossible to mod in more freedom in converting as the game mechanic is designed with the idea of both products having the same production cost (production cost does not equal resource cost), this could explain why it's possible to convert foreign vessels into domestic ones as they share the same production cost. This also explains why there is no production cost modifier in the designers for tanks and planes like there is for the naval designer choices (the one specifically for screens).
