unable to train paratroopers
so i have paratroopers level 2 but am unable to train all i get told is something about fielding and traing special forces battalions but tbh i have no idea what this means

I think there's now a limit as to how many "special forces" battalions (not even divisions, battalions, the individual parts of a division) you can have. If you look at the top of the Recruit & Deploy screen, you should see an icon of like a sword with wings and a number (or numbers?). That number is how many special forces battalions you can currently field, and it's based on your current army size.

The special forces (Marines, Mountineers, Paratroopers) were apparently OP so they had to limit them.

EDIT: the icon isn't where I thought it was, let me find it again.

EDIT2: The icon is under the Army overview on the right side of the UI near the World Tension icon. You'll see the dagger/wing icon mentioned with the max number of SF battalions you can have; mouse over it for more info.
