How Do I expand my General Capacity?

I DO NOT OWN Waking the Tiger DLC , and I can't find the button anywhere to pull up a "General Traits "tab and expand their capacity to more than 24
The only thing I can do is promote them to field Marshals , but they still have maximum capacity of 24

Unfortunately, there are only traits for generals that you have to earn, which I think are a part of the DLC. I don't know that for certain though, but seeing as none of my Generals have earned any traits that increased their unit cap (by 6 or so if I recall an earlier conversation) then there's nothing you can do aside from editing in game files.

Yeah. I got hamstrung by all the rainbow generals blocking up my screen making management and deployments, etc, a pain in the ass; so I modified my game files to give them a cap of 60 by default.

Yeah...It is a bit game breaking now, since now making a frontline with a lot of units is a pain in the ass

Apparently it's "easier" when you have a Field Marshal commanding 5 Generals (each with 24 units) for a frontline. But, for people like myself who don't like automated orders, movement, etc it's a giant pain in the ass.

Welp... The only thing that is possible for us is to either wait for Paradox to release an update , or buy the DLC

I'll more than likely pick up the DLC SoonTM. Mostly because formable nations, more General Traits, etc are exclusive to that DLC. It sucks honestly but it seems to be the better of the DLCs that have come out so far, so I won't mind as much.
