Lifespan of Kaiser Wilhelm II.
So, I've tested many scenarios when Willy comes back to power and each of them end up with him an estimated time of 2 months. Do you think they need to fix this, since he lived up until 1941 in 'our timeline'.

Even August von Mackensen can survive till 1939, which is a damn long time for a 90 year old. It's pretty much anticlimactic to see him die off, before he could really start messing around in European politics.

What do you guys think?

As I don't think he was ill when he died irl, his death shouldn't be tied to a specific date and should happen somewhere inbetween '40 and '44 at most. HoI IV is still alt-history, after all.

Ruhe in Frieden, Wilhelm!

He always lives until around 1942 for me. This thread is old and they've patched it so that he lives longer.

In march he did die within a few months all the time but luckily the devs changed that.

Well Mackensen died in 1945, so I think Mackensen should not die until 1945.

He lived until 1941 in my game. Got to see Germany crush the Soviets and the French and at least go for revenge on the Brits. His son finished them off.

My Wilhelm died in 38. His moustache will be missed.

Guess you're one of the lucky ones. For me he only lasts 2-3 months and then his son take the title of Kaiser. Rarely he survives till the 40's. I guess its pretty damn random from time to time.

Nah, he lives virtually forever in my games. Even in those rare instances when he dies, I just reload and he gets to live.

It is a random value that is determined once you start the civil war. They even increased the shortest death date in a patch so he lives longer.
