Beyond that it's a good thing, becuase now I can break off armies to go deal with things instead of randomly dragging people out of my blob to make something new.
They may of made a update last I played hoi4 in response to the complaints, but when I did Field Marshals could only hold 24 divisions like generals, the only thing that set them aside from generals is they could control army groups.
I'm afraid I don't get what you're saying there.
Field Marshals can control generals, generals hold up to 24 troops each, you link those generals to the field marshal and then control the field marshal to control all the armies as a single army.
A fresh marshal can control 5 armies of 24 each, that's 120 divisions per field marshal without any of the upgrades to control more.
You can also use field marshals as generals, but you're suppose to put generals under field marshals.
If you read what I said I am fully aware of how to put generals under a field marshal. It just feel good to me.
Better if I just take a screenshot to make my point, then we can figure out the confusion, brb.
