I get that this offensive to some, but for a game that prides itself in its historical accuracy, shouldn't WWII atrocities be mentioned as events at least? honestly I think they should even be in the focus trees.

So just omit the offensive things in certain countries in the same way that they censor hitler's face in germany.

Mentioning the holocaust as an event shouldn't be considered as offensive imo.

i bet in the US for examples far-left people would say it's "glorifying the holocaust, helping neo-nazis realize their dreams of killing the jews"

better to just avoid it, they don't even allow mods for the holocaust.

So what exactly would be the point of including the Holocust? It was not a significant military event. I don't think it belongs at all in this game.

WW2 isn't old enough for Paradox to make the game exactly how WW2 was. There are still a lot of people alive today who remember WW2, along with Governments in Europe still effected by WW2. It would attract a lot of Nazi's and bad press on top of it. Paradox doesn't want to add anything controversial like that for personal and business reasons. There are many good reasons why they don't want people talking about it on their forums.

So I may not agree with the decision to omit the holcoust for historical accurcy. However, it is a solid buisness decsion. I am sure the SJWs would rally against this game which would result in multiple bans and possibly sensoring of the game. Also people who lost ansestors in holocust woudl say it is insensitive and would petition vavle to remove it from it's stores.

There should be at least "Nonofficial" patch which will bring the accuracy in to the game, together with nuke effects (And not only deorganizing army)

If Paradox were to do that the media would probably call them Nazi's or Nazi supporters or something stupid, even if they're being 100% historical and saying the facts, that's just how the world is right now. They should continue to stay away from controversial things for personal and business reasons.

Also Atomic Bombs actually kill soldiers and destroys equipment. So many people think it only gets rid of Morale, that is a lie. I have killed hundreds of thousands of soldiers all at once from dropping an Atomic Bomb on their army. If you drop like 8-10 bombs on a huge stack of soldiers(In the hundreds of thousands) it will usually stack wipe them all, and if any units survive it's with only like .1 Morale and Equipment.

It's not just a military simulator though is it? it's an historical one too. The event's tone could be different depending on the nation you're playing as etc.

I just think the game could be more informative about the history, context and lead up to the war and its aftermath,

Kaiser reich (I think that's the name) does this very well.

Including The Holocaust in the game would be offensive. Almost as offensive as NOT including it in the game. Maybe a good topic for a mod to deal with, just like accurate Nazi flags.
