Best Country in HOI4?

What is the most powerful/your favorite country in HOI4?
I personally like Italy.
Germany is most powerful, in my opinion.

Germany still easily dominates everyone. The allies just don't have a chance. Even AI Germany dominates. In my game as Japan, Germany took over all of mainland Europe except Hungary who joined Axis. Then they conquered all of Soviet Union. Then Germany took over UK. Germany was downright scary.

I was considering declaring war on Germany just for the fun of it but thought it would be a grind.

Why do people say Italy is the best country? Or are you just biased because it is your native land? :)

Switzerland, Bridges detonate on demand, entire mountains explode when they want it too, they have mountains that act as walls, (search it up)

I just played this screwed up game as Italy. I ended up puppeting Britain, Turkey, Poland, and a bunch of other countries. I joined the Axis pretty quickly. Then, I staged a coup in France, and they were taken over by Communists. They also joined the Axis, even though we were at war with the Soviet Union. Japan was really peaceful and invaded China and out of that somehow created like three different new puppets. I boosted the Fascism popularity in America, and they ended up joining the Axis. I was like, America, what the ♥♥♥♥ are you doing? You just joined the wrong side! Then, there was a revolt in the Soviet Union, creating a "Russian Empire" that capitulated within five minutes of its creation. Then, Poland unlocked nukes and nuked the hell out of the Soviets. Man, I could go on, but I bet that nobody cares.

Lol, good one. Italy is only the one I have the most fun playing, not the best compared to Germany. I like being Italy because I like seeing what the AI will do as Germany lol.

Pretty much this; it's not that they're good, just that it's fun, especially going with the faction Italy can make.

Strongest AI country: Most likely Germany.
Strongest player led country: certainly the USA, UdSSR, United Kingdom , then maybee Germany.
You can see that in MP games, most rules are there to Guarantee atleast a bit of wiggle rooom for the Axis, (no volunteers for ethiopia for exemple)
