2 for Finland.
6 for the front against the Axis.
2 for the two open fronts against the ♥♥♥♥.
For my tank template, I usually make a light one and a heavy one.
The light one is a 20 width of motorised and light tanks with an engineer company, an army of these can outmatch any enemy army up until 1941 or so. Just make sure to keep upgrading your light tanks.
The heavy one is another 20 width of mechanized and heavy tanks, I never use medium tanks because the heavies can plow through any templates the AI make, plus they massacre forts and thus are good for offensives.
So basically, you'll have a bunch of decent infantry armies holding the front and you can micromanage your light and heavy tank armies along the frontline to launch offensives.
1. Mass assault is the worst doctrine
2. Do 40 widths
3. Tanks are worth, not as much in sp as mp
4. Mechanized not cost efficient
5. Don't put at in your infantry, lol
6. Mediums are the meta
Build 20 width infantry with Engineers, if you want a little push back, stick some support artillery in with them. If you REALLY want them to hold, build 40 width with only infantry. Nothing will budge them.
You should just have the following production:
Infantry
Support Equipment
Artillery (If you want to)
Fighters
Close Air Support
Build as many of these, with as many buffs as possible.
The trick is to wait until the other army has bled themselves dead, out of men, equipment, organization, and then march to their capital.
If you don't want a few million dead Soviets (and why not, comrade? Matyr for the state!), then build some Heavy Tanks with Mechanized Infantry, get it to 20 width, and then march the armies to the capital.
