Friend in Need Achievement ..
Just how exactly do i unlock it? I have invited Peru to my new faction and they accepted, still no achievement anlocked. Do i have to join the existing faction or what? Any1 has any idea? Or the achievement is bugged?

It's pretty self explanatory: "Join a faction".

You need to play Ironman mode to unlock achievements. Also yes, you might have to join a faction yourself.

The problem is that you invited someone to your faction. The achievement asks you to join a faction not get someone to join yours.

Doesn't matter, just make sure to play on ironman mode, join any faction you like and you'll get the achievement.

Just an additional clarification to that:

Achievements can only be gained in single-player Ironman games, with the 1936 start, on regular or veteran difficulty.
