Really no auto pause options

cant find a way to to set the game to pause when a focus completes or research is done . or any other event
am i missing something or did paradox just omit a vital feature of all there previous games ?

i swear it does arleady by default

Options > Game > Pause on notification.

All events, all focuses, all research will pause on finish ... it also pauses on messages from other nations (sign non aggression pacts, ask for access, join war ect ect), something which is a major pain in the arse when you get spammed by it.

Just hit Spacebar. It's pretty easy really.

If only they had kept the message settings options from previous HOI-games, which together with the ledger are the features I miss the most.
