Enemy Unit Counters

Is there a button or something that turns off the enemy unit counters? One minute I can see how many enemy units I'm fighting, suddenly I can't see anything at all. No box at all under the enemy units, just the soldier graphics. I can still see the numbers in the battle screen but not on the main map. Is it some button I've pressed by accident?

Radar, Encryption and Decryption (can't remember which, sorry) factor in here, so probably what's happened is that you can no longer get the intel needed to predict what the units consist if.

Increase Encrypt/Decrypt or (invent and) build radar to see the units again.
Water-based radar (on ships, obviously hehe) can help too, as could just parking a submarine in a coastal area.

Not sure if Recon and/or Signals Support Brigades play a part too.

the problem there is that you've accidentally pressed m, which turns off neutral and enemy unit counters, press m again to bring them back

Yeah it was just the setting. The good old 'Turn it off and back on again' trick fixed it, but I didn't know about the M key, so thanks.
