How To Defeat The USA as UK?
I am trying to get the Imperial Federation going as the Kings Party. I have successfully retaken the the dominions and annexed Burma and India.

Issue is, I want to Reunite the Anglosphere. But I cannot produce enough equipment or create enough divisions to invade America through Canada.

The US can create a retarded amount of divisions and the method of letting them attack to wittle down their manpower does not work as they simply do not attack.

My navy acts retarded and my strike forces won't attack so the US destroys all my patrols.

There does not seem to be a way to invade before 1940 as I have no army to speak of.

Can anyone create a guide to this or something? I'm finding it impossible.

I'm doing the same thing and have done the following so far.

Before unpausing the game, build 1 naval yard, 15 civ yards, and then fill the rest of Britain and Malaya up with mil yards. You're going to capture the bulk of your production so this is just to get you started.

Choose the Change of course NF.

Cancel production of everything but rifles, equipment, artillery (which should be equalized), and the Ark Royal. You don't need more trash planes and light tanks aren't going to to be built quickly enough to be of help to you. Add on 3 more Ark Royals and use 5 yards on each then max yards out production for the one already under construction (the 1 naval yard will fill in the gray yard).

Scrap all your subs (tier 1 are just begging to be sunk) then bring your combined fleets to the lvl 10 dock south of britain. Scrap all your heavy and battlecruisers, converted carriers, and maybe even 4 battleships to boost MP. The Arks will replace your carriers and your BBs make the other heavy ships redundant.

Bring all your air forces to the UK, set research to computer, production, construction, and Superior Firepower, then DISBAND ALL YOUR CAVALRY, ARMOR, AND ANY INFANTRY NOT ON THE MAIN ISLAND. This gives you an influx of rifles and equipment to help bolster recruitment and reinforcement of your 16 good divisions. Recruit 8 additional infantry units and set the number counter to 7 to eventually make 3 full armies. Set reinforcement to green.

After doing all this, you can finally start the game. (To be continued)

This will take you up to your first war.

For NF after Change of Course finishes, go Reinforce the Empire, Overseas Service, the 7% research boost (you want these before your puppets leave). Then limited rearming and finally the motorized focus.

Train your armies to get 5 land xp and take one inf off your infantry template. This will give you a boost in rifles and equipment and instantly train 3 divisions. As your points increase, recruit the land generalized theorist and change to limited conscription. As xp accrues, you're going to change your infantry to 7 INF 2 ART and tack on AA, RECON, and COMMO. Stop training after putting on AA to stop losing equipment.

Focus techs on production and land force boosting while modernizing your air force and continuing down the SF tree. Don't bother with the navy, you're fine with what you have for now. Speaking of, split off 7 task forces of 1 LC and 9 DD to act as patrol groups. Your death stack should now be under 100 power.

Now cross your fingers on the random wedding events and hope you get to make a speech. Set your army on a naval invasion of France at Dunkirk and the area beside jt. After the wedding, choose the King's Party NF, Reasses continental commitments, Isolate Italy, God save the King, then move down towards Extra research (isolate itsly is optional as I'm also going for the BE world conquest but this does open up the NAP with Germany. Tack on AA and motorized to your prodjction as factories become available.

You should now have a full 24 army and half of a second army. Set the second army for an invasion at Brest.

About this time, you should be out of the hole in PP so justify on France as soon as you hit 35. While waiting for justification, recruit the Infantry general staff. As milfacs continue to be built, start producing all the planes that need to be upgraded. 3 facs should be enough for everything but fighters.

When justification is done, set your patrol groups to guard transports and your desth stack to bombard. Set air force up then drop the hammer. Once both armies have landed, France should fold within weeks. Take out Netherlands and Belgium too to get them to join the Commonwealth. Take South Africa after stomping Belgium's colonies, then use your fleet to escort an army to the island off the east coast of Canada. Navally invade right by the capital while unlocking the reinforce and logistics staff. Canada should fold quickly as well. This can be done fast enough that Germany will have had no time to capture Czechoslovakia allowing you to take all territory.

The last steps are to increase the port strength and infrastrucruee of Canada and to creare a good armored template. Use this to punch through US lines and you should be golden!

Easiest way to take out the US with a neutral UK is to take the two eastern most Canadian provinces (Nova Scotia and New Brunswick) when you put them back in the box.
You will have a clear launch platform to head into the US and you won't need a huge army to cover the entire Canadian border as well, the US ai will however have to divert forces to secure that border.

As for what forces to use
You can go with what flyboymp suggested or do it my way
9 inf, 2x AA and as support recon, engineer and artillery. Later on you can then add hospital and radio but they take up a lot of support equipment

You will want at least 48 divisions of it as the border with the US starts to stretch a bit. If you attack before the end of 38 you should have a decent chance to break them quickly, any later and you may be in for a drawn out battle

Be aware! If you took back your dominions using the revolt decisions (that start a civil war in each of them) you will not get any cores once you integrate them. You need to take the dominions without the revolts which is easy enough as well.
Canada is the only one you truely have to kill to get them. Send an army to the South African border and detach 2 divisions, send those divisions to Micronesia and have them plan a landing on the ports in New Zealand and Australia, they don't need to win they only need to fight.
Send a 2nd army to Newfoundland, you may want to beef up the port just in case you run out of supplies. Have 8 units start planning a landing at Halifax in Nova Scotia, it will either be undefended or defended by a single unit which will quickly retreat. Once you have a beachhead call in the remaining army and steam roll Canada.
Don't forget to also attack South Africa so you don't have to start a second war there....

You will get the CBs necesary to take the dominions in the focus immediately following the one for the revolt (can't recall names). Call the war against any of the dominions EXCEPT Canada... it is protected by a US guarantee and as I said earlier take Nova Scotia and New Brunswick in the peace deal to set up for the raid against the US.

If you get bogged down against the US you can have your 2nd army (the one not on the front in New Brunswick) set a landing in Florida from either of your islands in the area. Have your entire fleet in a single task force and set them to support the invasion, the US won't be able to interfere and the fuel consumption needed for the massive fleet will be minimal compared to trying to gain the upper hand.

Hey quick question. What do you mean by you just have to New Zealand and Australia? I usually justify on Belgium which causes Canada to guerantee them thus starting the war. Do you actuslly have to attack all the nations to get them as cores?
Mikey Jul 1, 2019 @ 1:50pm
no, there is currently a bug where if you use the civil war mechanic to get the dominions back in line, the "old" nations will cease to exist and when you integrate them via the federalisation focus you do not get cores on them

To get them as cores you CANNOT use the civil war decisions...

Well that's a good thing. I just dropkicked Canada and South Africa and the others decided against taking up a fight with me. No PP wasted on civil wars.

If I puppet say France and Belgium and etc and then form the Imperial Federation will I get cores on them or do I only get cores on the USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and Australia?

Also, to get cores on the US do I hand it to Canada or just puppet them?
