Playing Bulgaria Kaiserreich

Im fairly new to hoi4 and everytime I play bulgaria I get crushed by a faction of Greece, Serbia, Albania, and Iron Guard Romania. How can I play as Bulgaria and not get destroyed.

Focus on getting factories and research industry. Dont declare useless wars as your manpower pool isnt very good at the start. Be passive in the beginning and build forts etc! You have to passive with bulgaria and build up ur economy and then army. Once thats done carefull plan taking out turkey or greece.

if you a new then i would recommend not playing mods like kaiserrech because they add so much to the base game.

as for playing as Bulgaria in kaiserreich it is almost guaranteed that Serbia, Greece and Romania will form a faction against you as it is a part of Serbia's focus tree. so you either got to keep restarting until only two nations are in the belgrade pact or just focus on serbia as they are the only major nation in the war

Try to take Bucharest and Ploiesti from Romania as soon as the war starts. As soon as you take those 2 cities Romania will capitulate and after that it's pretty easy to crush Serbia and Greece.

In 0.6 this is what i do put 10 divisions at Romania, 7 at Serbia and 7 with Greece (these are minimum) Romania is retarded and doesent put divisions on front lines so whatever you do rush victory points. Then do as you please (I halve the army put first halve on Serbia and second on Greece, and I capitulate Greece so everyone in the end can focus on Serbia). Also always keep one research slot for grand battle-plan doctorine and I use 9 infantry division and support artillery template and switch 9 infantry template to one with support artillery deficit would be from 120-150

You might try switching to Romania, Serbia, or Greece so that you're not on the receiving end, and you will have allies. I suppose if you had the player led peace conference mod, then you could take all of Bulgaria for yourself too.

Alternatively you might try Sweden for instance, which has plenty of potential to form an empire, but you shouldn't be seeing Denmark, Norway, and Finland forming a pact against you like with Bulgaria.

Kaiserreich seems to "force" another Balkan War, but Bulgaria outside of KR can have potential to form a Balkan empire without such opposition. If you really want to play as Bulgaria in Kaiserreich, but don't want to worry about the alliance,..you could tag to SER at the right time and select for them a different focus/focus path, assuming there's an option mutually exclusive with forming the alliance against Bulgaria.
