Social Justice Warrior comes to 'fix' strategy games. Get out please go ruin call of duty or something you cockroach.
STFU.
Only the Jews suffered, right? selfish ass.
TLDR : AHHAARGHAHAHAHAAH! WW2
Your great uncle died in the holocaust.
And this is suppose to... make me care or somehow make you right?
Sure bud. GTFO you leftwing scum.
I've reported your account for antisemitism. I hope you realize how serious holocaust denial is. There is a very real possibility that you could be blacklisted from several European countries for expressing these disgusting views. This is not something people take lightly. Enjoy having your account locked.
So you're calling people ''nazi scumbags'', which is not only ignorant of the fact that the National Socialist German Worker's Party hasn't existed since October 10, 1945, but is a bitterness-filled insult similar to what a nazi would make, which is further reinforced by the dehumanizating statement ''unlike you nazi scumbags''. Of course saying it's a ''dehumanizating statement'' is needlessly melodramatic (can't think of a more proffessional term at the moment) but so is using a dead relative to ♥♥♥♥♥ about feeling threatened by a video game.
To ban the German Reich from being playable would be to, you know, close off an entire nation from being playable. The number 1 most important and central world-power in WW2. The one wedged in between France and the Soviet Union, and is a stone's throw away from the UK which takes quite a bit of planning to pull off a land invasion of Britain. You know, the one where you have to keep a close eye on the Soviet Union's activities and determine when would be the best time to strike before they can reinforce their border and interior. Also, last I remember Paradox's 3rd largest source of consumers is in Germany. And as has been seen in the games industry in the last few years, putting ideology before customer satisfaction and profits is a quick way to lose a lot of money and all respect and trust your customers had for you.
On the topic of making it clear who ''the bad guys were and weren't'', you need to understand the concepts of ''backlash'' and ''getting sick of the same old ♥♥♥♥'' and ''the boy who cried wolf''. We could get into the war crimes commited by the Allies or Nazi Germany's rebuilding of infrastructure, technological developments, and the fact that a nation sunken into chaos and frequent riots by communists being pacified to the point that it wasn't long before Germany was hosting the olympic games, but I personally think that the most compelling argument is that the flavor text in Paradox games is always written from the point of view of the nation you're playing as, with it's clever, funny, and sensible point-of-view logic such as why seeing a comet in the sky is an omen of doom (Europa Universalis).
The ''allows people to empathise with Germans'' part just reeks of intolerance and bigotry (LOL) towards germans so I'm not even going to touch that part, it's a tad too obvious. https://archive.org/details/BBC1945TheSavagePeaceAtrocitiesAgainstGermans
Finally, ''My great uncle died in the holocaust so the threat is very real for me and my family.''
This is as sensible as deepsea astronomy. Someone else died in a concentration camp, so you are afraid of also being placed in a concentration camp even though they're currently being used as museums and memorials instead of extermination/slavery centers? More importantly, if you do live in some totalitarian regime, I garauntee you that that regime doesn't care if a relative has died in the holocaust, they'd be far more concerned with the crushing dissent and weeding out ''undesirables'' in the PRESENT. I have to ask what country you live in, because unless you live in North Korea, you just might have paranoid schizophrenia. In addition, ''let that sink in for a minute'' in an emotional appeal, not a reasoning, thus is irrelevant.
Basically you're acting like a nazi by calling other people nazis and scumbags and being bitter and inflammatory, just like the nazis were.
TLDR, calm your tits or get a refund.
