Tencent investment in Paradox Interactive???
"Paradox Interactive - 5 percent: When Swedish grand strategy publisher Paradox first went public in 2016, Tencent swooped in to buy 5 percent for $21 million. Part of the sale was motivated because Steven Ma, the head of publishing at Tencent Games, is a big fan of Hearts of Iron 2."

How do people feel about this? I dont want to be encouraging any Chinese companies in a country that doesnt believe in the freedom of speech and personal liberty. I am thinking this might have to end my involvement with Paradox games. Has anyone else seen this and what do they feel about it?

Actually it was political from the free honk Kong first response. The question was how ppl felt about Chinese ownership in a Swedish company

To be honest, 5% really isn't enough to significantly influence the actions of a video game company. HOI4 is still banned in China, and I don't think this will change. I do however hope that Tencent's share of Paradox doesn't increase any further than 10%.
