Help! Game keeps crashing on a specific date.

Sep 13th 1944 at exactly 2400 hours is when my game crashes. I've verified the integrity of the game, reloaded earlier saves, abandoned staging coups, abandoned raising party popularity, disabled ship patrols, and no matter what I do, the game crashes. Yes, all of Asia and Africa are dominated exclusively by the Axis. I was preparing a naval invasion of Canada from France, but even if I zoom in or out of the map, the game will crash no matter what at 2400 hours. Any suggestions to fix this?

Making sure you disabled all mods would be your first step.

Hi I've tried all the instructions and the 1.3.1 beta does not appear, only 1.3.0 - will that still work to possibly solve my problem?

@coll912: Version 1.3.1 was released a couple of hours ago. So unless you opted into a beta program you should have that version now. (This might help: Open Steam → click on 'Library' (→ click on 'Detail View') → right click on HOI4 → click on 'Properties' → click on 'Betas' → select "NONE - Opt out of all beta programs")

Mine crashes right after the Fourth International. I'm not sure what's going on either.

By now version 1.3.1 isn't a beta anymore, it was released to the general public a couple of hours ago. Make sure to opt out of all betas and you should get version 1.3.1.

In the new version (1.3.1) a "Clear user directory" button was added to the launcher (on the bottom in the middle). Please give that a try.

Then I'd try to manually delete the whole personal HOI4 directory---its path depends on the OS:
(Note: You might want to make a backup of the local savegames in there before doing that!)
- [Windows] \Users\<username>\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV\
- [macOS] /Users/<username>/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/
- [GNU/Linux] /home/<username>/.local/share/Paradox\ Interactive/Hearts\ of\ Iron\ IV/

If that doesn't work take a look at the "IMPORTANT: Related to game crashes (having DLC or not) and checksum errors" sticky and the instructions there (point 1).

I found the problem, I was using a cloud save. Once I made a local save and cleared the directory from the launcher, the game worked just fine after the carsh date. Thanks!

i have the same problem, could you make like a step by step how to fix it? my game manually crash at 14feb 1940 for a reason??!? xd
