Why is China not a major allied nation?

I know China was a very weak and disorganized nation during that period of time, but it doesn't change the history that China kept on fighting the Japanese as a part of the big 4 allies during the 2nd world war. Recently, dev updated the game and decided to add Poland as another interesting faction, but they forgot the fact that Poland was quickly occupided in just 1 month during the blitzkrieg and France was also occupied in just 1 month because the Nazis broke through the Maginot line. Republic of China remained standing until the end of the war in 1945. I'm not saying those European nations should'nt be involved, but why didn't the devs at least add some pictures and reskin the uniforms? When I played the ROC, I feel like playing an umimportant faction because of the incorrect uniform, and the lack of pictures in the weapons research tab.

Poland has imo it's own focus tree. China does sadly not, so that's why.

Every country had their own focus tree, it doesn't make sense that China don't have its own.

Neither the ROC nor the Chinese Soviet Republic (which is not even named that way ingame) are in the main focus of the game. The huge stalemate going on in China, the pacific war and maybe a bit of good old western bias often make it look like a secondary theatre of the war and the second Sino-Japanese war was kinda its own thing anyway.
In the not too long away future there will probably be more for china but for now just use some of those great mods to fix the lack of detail China has.

If The 2nd sino japanese war was its own thing, then why does the history tell us that it was won as part of WWII? You can't just focus "World War II" in the European Theatre only. If thats the case, this game shouldn't contain the tag "World War II" because World War II was not only the European Theatre, there was the Pacific, and North Africa.. Also, if this game is only focusing Europe, then why would Japan be involved? If Japan can be an interesting faction to play, why can't China be? It was one of the big 4 during ww2. If the devs are forgetting the fact that China stood by itself in Asia alone against Japan since 1937 all the way to 1945 as a part of the major allies, then they are basically saying "China isn't important"

Dude, I wanted to be nice and helpful here, not listen to any glorification of your favorite nation on earth. So do me a favor, calm down and look for someone else to argue with cause I am not the person bashing your glorious china here. There is limited manpower on the side of paradox and they cant please everyone over their favorite nation all at once.

China doesn't deserve its own tech tree atleast not until later and the bigger players are finished, possibly may be part of a dlc that focuses on the asian nations. Commonwealth dlc released so who knows.

didn't do much to stop the expansion of Imperial Japan into south east asia, over 500,000,000 million people and it took an Australian/American alliance to push them back.

As a Chinese I think the HOI4 team was right according to the history. ROC was military dictatorship and wasn't fully united before the war happens, generally our ancestors fought alone bravely until Dec 9 1941, and actually declared war and got ally's limited support after the Pearl Harbor incident, and it should not be forgotten, you should hit the books harder to learn that as a large part of chinese history was intentionally avoided by current ruling party. And HOI4 team definately need to be more accurate on warlord names and flags, PRC shouldn't exist before 1949. Also, any game creator should pay enough respect to China regarding to WWII, i'm not saying they didn't, but hope it will be improved soon.

Without the Chinese, Japan would use all force against the Americans/Australians. The reason why Japan lost Pacific was because they ran out of resources and had to focus on multiple fronts and China was one of them

Exactly, this is a forgotten history. All of the credits were giving to the Americans and British, but forgot the fact that Chinese was one of the big 4 allies that defeated the imperalist

Nobody declined China's contribution, but China did form United Front and was a major player as Not Aligned group， neutral to Germans, Italy and Allies before 1941, i think the HOI4 team was right on that, maybe they should add event "China officially declared war to Japan and Axis" in 1942, and allow china to join Allies then.
