Division template
So, I was experimenting around with the division designer and came up with this inf division.
8 INF, 1 AT, 1 ART. The stats seem okay, high organization etc, perhaps the soft attack is a bit low at 110 but with support ART it adds up to 130.
What do you guys think about this division, is it worth using?

Hate to be that guy but.. it depends. Against what? In what terrain? Line AT would be suitable for use against a tank/mech heavy opponent but typically support AT will suffice. Then again, I would argue against using any line artillery in mountaineer divisions since they lose some of their bonuses with it in that terrain. All in all, you really should just adapt to who and where and what you're fighting. I almost always develop specialized divisions based on how the fighting is going. That said, the typical 7 inf 2 art setup with support AT is so popular for a reason. Sorry to be vague but maybe if you give me more specifics about what you're up against I can help more.

Thanks for the response!
Currently playing as Sweden, and normally play as other minors such as Greece. I'm looking for an affordable division that I can use to invade other minors surrounding me but that doesn't get screwed over when I eventually get confronted by the Soviet Union. Basically a division that is all around decent.
I was also thinking about the organization of the divisions, I haven't really gotten the hang of what a 'good organization is'. For example, is 40 org good, or will 35 do? I don't want troops that break after 2 days of fighting but I don't want troops that fight till they reach 0 HP and disappear.

One reason that the 7 inf 2 art division is so popular is because it is relatively cheap for the firepower, especially with the superior firepower doctrine. In other words, I would make that your eastern front standard and be sure to include support AT. For Norway, I would use 20-width mountaineer divisions with support art (no line artillery). Play it defensive at first, letting them attack into the mountains then counterattack while their organization is low and you'll have no problems at all.

Outside of your standard rank and file infantry, I would highly recommend creating some specialty units for the fight against the USSR, particularly AT divisions for, well you know, tanks, and concentrated artillery divisions for breakthroughs on soft targets. This is assuming you don't have the industrial base for a mechanized force. I've never played as Sweden so I don't your exact scenario.

Alright, thank you! Will follow your advice, do the AI even build tanks though?
Edit: I've heard they didn't

Hmmm, I've only seen them build light armour, that might just be me though.

I often see medium tank divisions made by the german AI.
