before i buy this game, i want to make sure i can play it.

You might just be able to on lowest graphics settings, but the mid to late game will be very slow and laggy becasue of the amount of units. So practically i would say no.

No, a 2.00Ghz processor is just not up to the task. Like Ewok said, you will experience massive slowdown.

Unlikely... You should be fine before the 1940's if on minimum and not on max speed, but past that is going to be real rough (Though frames don't really matter in this game compared to others)

You don't know the difference between a GPU intensive and CPU intensive game? Are you new to gaming or something?

not new, its just that all these different numbers and acronyms is confusing

If you think that the "different numbers and acronyms" are confusing, then you are new to gaming. The minimum to atleast run this game is an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 @ 2.66 GHz / AMD Athlon II X4 650 @ 3.20 GHz, 4 GB of RAM (Which you are over, so that's good) ATI Radeon HD 5850 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX470 with 1GB VRAM.

What I would consider is to buy a gaming desktop and not a laptop because you have almost unlimited upgrade capibility compared to a laptop. A GTX 1050 Ti or AMD equivilent, 8 or 16 GB of ram, a 1/2 TB hard drive, and an AMD FX-8350 or Intel equivilent.
