Confederate Flag in the Game`s Files?

Listed there there is a Confederate Flag. Does anyone know if this is legit? And if it is, what are you thoughts about the content that might be related to it?

Well, its not...I once puppeted the USA as Austria Hungary, their Flag was like the American Flag only it had a Crown instead of the Stars

That'd be a hell of a DLC. May not be historical, but I love me some alternate history (And yes I know, Confederates, racism, whatever. It's just interesting alternate history to me, nothing more).

The CSA flag has been in the game files since release. The non alligned American flag is the Monarchist American flag from Victoria 2 to clear things up

If anything I believe it to be code left over for anyone who probably wanted to make a CSA mod and just left the flag in there for them.

Sure, but Paradox could use the assets in the future. specially because they expressed desires for implemeting Alt-History paths for the Vanilla majors, I dont discard yet, however remote the chances are.

If you want a U.S civil war 2, you know you just have to play the Kaisereich mod right? The US also splits into 4-5 parts which is quite interesting
